I attended a school year reunion on Saturday gone at a pub in town. I have to say that despite being a bit nervous it was certainly worth it.
The only worry I actually had when I arrived at the pub was if, having walked through the door then everyone would already be there sat around a table and it would go eerily quiet as they all looked at me wondering "who the hell is that?" Fortunately, I noticed a couple of classmates standing at the bar and made a bee-line for them and was spared any embarassment.
Without doubt, the most frequent question everyone was asking was, "What are you up to these days?" and, it would seem that we made up a diverse group of people.
All in all it was a great night with the booze flowing freely with old friendships rekindled and anecdotes to boot - certainly something I'd be willing to do again.

Blues Lesson
OK. So, staying on the whole guitar theme I thought I'd share some of my influences with you. Most of all I am a rock kinda guy. Having said that, I also enjoy the roots of rock. In other words, rock & roll along with blues are genres I also love. In particular, I remember hearing my older brother listening to an Eric Clapton greatest hits album when I was a child and I just loved it. 'Old Slowhand' is amazing to watch and, if you want a lesson in the blues then I suggest you watch this video of EC playing Freddie King's classic track 'Have You Ever Love A Woman'.
Enjoy!
Enjoy!
